Alisson was born on 02/10/1992 in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil. Alisson began his career at Internacional. In 2016, he completed a transfer to Roma where he initially served as understudy to Wojciech Szczęsny before breaking into the starting line-up. In July 2018, Alisson signed for Liverpool fora world record fee for a goalkeeper at the time (€72 million). In his first season at the club he won the 2019 UEFA Champions League. He has been praised for his crucial saves, positioning and distribution, and is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
