Alexandre Lacazette was born on 28/05/1991 in Lyon, France. Lacazette began his senior career at the city's largest club Olympique Lyonnais at age 19, after impressing as a member of the team's youth setup. He initially played as a winger, but was converted into a striker. During his time at the club, Lacazette developed into a regular goalscorer, becoming renowned for his prowess in front of goal. Lacazette was the subject of, at the time, a club-record transfer to English team Arsenal in 2017, when he moved from Lyon in a deal worth £46.5 million (€53 million)..
